
Dalal Hassane
Research Intern
Dalal Hassane is a Kurdish-Arab student at Harvard College studying Social Studies. She was born and raised in Illinois, but her family has roots in Slemani and Halabja, Kurdistan, and Jableh, Syria. She has written articles for The Harvard Crimson and Assembly, a Malala Fund publication, about the importance of preserving and uplifting Kurdish narratives in modern-day movements for justice and freedom. She is passionate about the intersection of writing and advocacy and hopes to delve deeper into the history and ongoing mobilization of Kurdish resistance movements and cultural preservation.
