Shiyar Mohammed
Shiyar Mohammed is an operations and program leader with 10+ years of experience implementing humanitarian and early recovery programs in Northeast Syria and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. He is a Partnerships and Grants Manager at Lêlûn Association.
His work has focused on supporting refugees, IDP, returnee, and host communities affected by conflict, with an emphasis on livelihoods, social cohesion, and protection. He has managed multi-sector programs reaching thousands of beneficiaries and coordinated closely with UN agencies, local authorities, and Kurdish civil society organizations in both the Kurdistan Region of Iraq and Northeast Syria. He integrates conflict sensitivity, safeguarding, and inclusion into program design and delivery in fragile and conflict-affected settings.
